Description / Abstract

🎙️ The CREWS Interview Series is brought to you on behalf of the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme, a collaboration between UNEP, UNEP-DHI Centre, Cap-Net and the Global Water Partnership. In this series, we aim to present relevant perspectives from stakeholders involved in action planning to advance Integrated Water Resources Management, in the context of SDG 6.

In this episode of the CREWS Interview Series, Mr. Raymond Valiant, Regional Coordinator of the Global Water Partnership Southeast Asia (GWP SEA), shares insights into how the CREWS initiative is being tailored to address the distinct water scarcity and climate resilience challenges in Cambodia and Lao PDR. He highlights the importance of strong collaboration with national and local authorities, the role of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), and how context-specific early warning systems are being strengthened across the region. Mr. Valiant also reflects on how GWP SEA measures program success, key lessons learned from the initiative, and how these approaches can inform broader resilience-building efforts across climate-vulnerable regions.
