Join UNDP and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) at UNCCD COP16 in Riyadh for a discussion on the transformative power of systems thinking for drought resilience.     

When and Where?   

  • December 6th from 11:00 to 12:30 in MET-08 (Blue Zone) 

  • December 7th from 15:00 to 16:30 in the UNDP Pavilion (Green Zone) 

We'll be exploring the ripple effects that lead to drought, showcasing drought monitoring systems like the East Africa Drought Watch, and contribute to shaping UNDP's future efforts for building drought resilience.  This event will be a dynamic platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange, bringing together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to collectively address this critical challenge.
