In a few months, the most important drought event of this decade, the high-level policy meeting on drought Resilience+10 , will take place.
During this transdisciplinary conference, the IAHS WG "Drought in the Anthropocene" (DitA) organises a scientific poster session during all lunches. Besides, our DitA annual workshop will be held consecutively to the conference, 3-4 Oct 2024, also in the WMO offices in Geneva.

During the conference, a science-for-policy poster session organized by DitA will be held during lunch breaks to present the latest scientific findings to the forum and discuss developments in drought research over the past decade. We hope to receive posters summarizing research projects, posters presenting ongoing work in research teams, and posters displaying other policy-relevant findings. The posters will be summarized by workstream of the conference so that highlights of new knowledge and knowledge gaps can be fed into the discussion during the workstream sessions, to which scientists are cordially invited.

In keeping with the IAHS Decade of Science for Solutions, HELPING , the 2024 Annual Workshop of the DitA Network will focus on compiling a summary of the key research gaps identified at the high-level meeting and conference. Together we will formulate a set of research questions based on this, form working groups to address these questions, discuss methods/tools to answer them, and then plan within each working group to write a policy response or academic paper on these topics.
All scientists working on human-drought interactions are welcome to participate, whether or not they attended the Rsilience+10 policy conference.
