Every three years, the World Water Forum punctuates the international calendar as one of the largest water-related gatherings. The 10th edition of the World Water Forum will be jointly organized by the World Water Council and the Republic of Indonesia and is set to take place in 2024 in Bali.

The session will provide an update on the preparatory process of the 10th World Water Forum. It will present the overarching theme and overall structure of the Forum, the main themes, and the different processes. The side event will also present opportunities to the different stakeholders to contribute and be involved in the preparatory process of this collaborative event. The side event also will be the place to hear voices on how to interlink the UN-led initiatives with the Forum process especially linking with the next year’s UN water conference with the participants.

Overall objective(s)
During this event, the co-organizers of the 10th World Water Forum will present the overall structure of this new edition and the main themes that were selected. In addition, information on the Forum’s preparatory processes will be presented, with particular attention to how all stakeholders can contribute and engage to have the highest impact on the global political agenda and deliver concrete actions. As one of the milestones towards the 10th World Water Forum, the UN water conference will be also discussed how we will be engaged and link its results to the forum process. The event will conclude with an open session of questions and answers.
