This Community aims to improve the participation of SAYWIN youth in the Water, Health, Energy, and Food (WHEF) nexus-related investments within the SADC Region.

On 25-28 March 2019, GWPSA launched the SADC Youth WHEF Innovation Network (SAYWIN) with SADC in the framework of the AIP Youth Jobs Support Programme, which is supported and acknowledged by AfDB, Africa Water Facility (AWF), AU/NEPAD and AMCOW.  SAYWIN was launched at the SADC Multi-Stakeholder Water Dialogue, which is a biennial event, organized by the SADC Directorate of Infrastructure.

This Community will seek to fulfil the following objectives

  1. To share and gain information from the youth for the SADC Region
  2. To connect and network with and between youth in the WHEF Nexus
  3. To build and enable the capacity of youth to participate effectively in the WHEF Nexus
